Just starting out? Ask yourself this important question first….”Why?” Why do you want your child to be a model? Is it for money, fame, recognition, parental pride,or just for fun? Unless your answer is "for fun" -- then be warned, you probably will NOT have fun doing it.

When you are a model -- you are running your own small business. IF you get signed by an AGENCY -- you have to remember that they are your EMPLOYEE (they work for you -- you don't work for them). This means that every decision about your child’s modeling career lies solely on you. While you can take advice and ask for recommendations -- you don't have to follow that advice, and often times it's best to follow your gut rather than someone else's second-hand guess.

NOTE: You should NOT pay for anything except transportation, food, and photographs. NO legitimate agency will ask for money or schooling upfront! (Upon request, when you have a modeling portfolio shoot done, I will provide you a list of AFTRA & SAG Agents in the area.)
